A lovely day today when we starting talking and filming with Peggy Seeger about her upbringing in America pre and post war, the folk archiving father and the classical composing mother, her brothers Pete & Mike, Woodie Guthrie, Lead Belly, Libba Cotten composing ‘Freight Train’ and through to Peggy’s college days. We will resume in January for part two with this fascinating lady, I mean we have not even got to Ewan MacColl or Alex Campbell yet let alone all the Folk Revival era. Today she had delivered her autobiography to Faber & Faber for release in January 2018, so huge congratulations to Peggy on that achievement, we are looking forward to it.
